A happy, empowered team ships great software. I unblock, mentor, and create an environment where everyone does their best work.

I don't micromanage implementation. I set direction, define quality standards, and ensure the team has what they need to succeed.

Status updates, architecture decisions, blockers, wins — overcommunicate. Surprises are the enemy of good leadership.

Decide with context, not authority

Explain the why behind decisions. Give the team context so they can make good decisions without me.

Ship quality, ship often

Done is better than perfect. But "done" means tested, documented, deployed, and monitored. Quality and velocity are not opposites.

How I Think

I think in systems — both technical and human. A great architecture without a great team will fail. A great team without good architecture will struggle. I invest in both.
